Publishing Ethics

The International Journal of Engineering Applications and Innovations (INTLJEAI) is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and integrity. As part of our dedication to responsible publishing practices, we expect all authors, reviewers, editors, and journal staff to adhere to the following ethical guidelines:

1. Authorship and Originality:

  • Authors should ensure that their submitted manuscript represents original work that has not been previously published and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
  • All individuals who have made significant contributions to the research should be listed as authors, while those who have provided support or assistance without substantial contribution should be acknowledged appropriately.
  • Authors are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of their research findings and should disclose any potential conflicts of interest or sources of funding that could influence the interpretation of their results.

2. Plagiarism and Copyright:

  • Authors should avoid plagiarism by properly citing and referencing all sources used in their manuscript and obtaining permission for any copyrighted materials included.
  • Submitted manuscripts found to contain plagiarized content will be rejected, and authors may be subject to sanctions, including being banned from submitting to INTLJEAI in the future.
  • Authors retain the copyright to their work published in INTLJEAI and grant the journal the right to publish and disseminate the article under a Creative Commons license, allowing for the unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction of the article with proper attribution.

3. Peer Review Process:

  • Reviewers should conduct peer review evaluations objectively and impartially, focusing on the scientific and scholarly merit of the manuscript.
  • Reviewers should maintain confidentiality and refrain from disclosing any details about the manuscript or their review to anyone without prior authorization from the journal.
  • Editors should oversee the peer review process to ensure fairness, transparency, and timely communication between authors, reviewers, and the editorial team.

4. Conflicts of Interest:

  • Authors, reviewers, and editors should disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could influence their objectivity or decision-making process.
  • Conflicts of interest may include financial interests, personal relationships, or professional affiliations that could bias the interpretation or evaluation of the research.

5. Corrections and Retractions:

  • Authors should promptly notify the journal if they discover errors or inaccuracies in their published manuscript and cooperate with the editorial team to issue corrections or retractions as necessary.
  • The journal reserves the right to retract published articles in cases of ethical misconduct, data fabrication, plagiarism, or other forms of scholarly misconduct.

6. Data Sharing and Transparency:

  • Authors should provide access to raw data and materials used in their research to facilitate transparency, reproducibility, and verification of results.
  • Authors should ensure that data presented in their manuscript are accurate, complete, and transparently reported to allow for independent validation and replication by other researchers.
